No, I didn’t steal these. Check out the newest “to read” stack courtesy of my public library. As always, we’ll see just how effective I am in getting through them all. I’m sure I will get distracted by other books along the way. But hey, I can at least dream, can’t I ?
Anyway, from bottom to top, here is what we have:
- America’s Prophet: Moses and the American Story by Bruce Feiler
- The Persian Night: Iran Under the Khomeinist Revolution by Amir Taheri
- Infidel by Ayaaan Hirsi Ali
- South of the Clouds: Exploring the Hidden Realms of China by Seth Faison
- Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Peace…One School at a Time by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin
- A History of Civilizations by Fernand Braudel
So add that pile to all the other piles of books I’m trying to read. Right now you are probably saying, “yeah, he won’t even get close to reading all that.” Yep, you’re probably right. But who cares.
Congratulations on this beautiful site. It is lovely to look at, friendly to the eyes and appealing to the intellect.
